Policy thinkers have used different methods to study the factors affecting the policy environment in Iran and the Islamic world. The complexity of this environment, different dimensions of political issues, different conditions and factors affecting the studied variables of policy in different societies of the Islamic world require that political analysts be equipped with appropriate methodological approaches to be able to study these multidimensional phenomena in their own context.
